Have to say these guys were 1st class, I was kept informed of all work that was carried out from Helen. New timing chain, tensioner, gearbox service all carried out to a high standard. Big thank you to Chris who explained to me everything that had been done when I collected my car. Even loaned me a car while mine was being repaired. Well worth the distance I travelled to these guys. Will definitely be using them again, complete satisfaction.

They were expensive or comparable for a service in my personal opinion as compared to the main dealership... I would recommend getting a written quote, before a service.

These guys are totally first rate. They know about cars in enormous depth in a way very few garages do these days. They specialise in quality cars so I cannot say if their knowledge extends to other marques but they know far more about my Mercedes than any main dealer I have had the misfortune to encounter. Some will find their current office and workshop pretty scruffy, bits of cars all over the place, but they plan a move and a tidier life! For me it is fine, it speaks to the love of mechanics! I always use them and have never been unhappy. Well done guys.

Simply the Best. These two guys fixed several ongoing issues with my Mercedes C250 when all other mechanics advised me to get rid of the car when they had failed to repair it. Despite being very busy they managed to take my car in on the same day I called, diagnosis the problems, repair the car and took it for an Mot all within 4 days and provide me with a loan car. Excellent communication, good old fashioned service and a very fair price. I will be taking my car here from now on. I highly recommend this excellent company and the way they look after their clients and their cars.

Had issues with my aircon and my usual garage has recently closed, called these guys up and they saw me same day and fixed it at a reasonable cost. Friendly and professional service, will definitely visit again!

After deciding to have some serious work done on my car and having been told no by quite a few garages in my own area, i got in touch with cowdray. It was clear Dan knew what he was talking about so i made the journey from Scotland down. He had my engine out, stripped, rebuilt and refitted in the same day, while being provided with a free courtesy car . Excellent pricing and an excellent service received. Thanks again guys

Chris and his team are brilliant! Everything was explained to me and they gave me options and showed a genuine interest in my car and helping to get it sorted. It really is hard to find a garage to trust these days but no issues here. I'd say they went above and beyond on my BMW 650. Will be using them permanently from now on!

I had just bought a nice Bentley turbo r for my tour business and heard about these guys in Essex who could give it a once over and get it up to speed (literally!) I was not disappointed. From the moment I was greeted by Helen on reception until I drove the refreshed old girl out of their forecourt. I was more than impressed by their down to earth knowledge, enthusiasm and “can do “attitude. Old school values high tech answers ! They are the ones to go to. Very happy with Chris, Helen and team on both their customers and car service and all round professionalism. Always willing to have a chat and couldn't argue at the diagnosis, repair and turnaround of my AMG merc when in for a gearbox issue. Great team who I would recommend to use for German and prestige cars.
